USA China - relatii economice

Nu demult, fostul secretar al Trezoreriei Americane, Henry Paulson, afirma cu tarie ca vina aparitiei crizei trebuie purtata de chinezi. N-a trecut nici macar o saptamana de la preluarea puterii de catre administratia Obama si deja Casa Alba vrea parca sa confirme ca Paulson a avut drepate.
Astfel, relatiile economice dintre Statele Unite si China au inceput cu stangul in "noua era Obama", in urma acuzatiilor aduse asiaticilor cum ca nu inceteaza sa-si manipuleze moneda pentru a-si proteja exporturile.
Aceste acuzatii au fost categoric respinse de administratia de la Beijing, care le-a catalogat ca fiind nefondate.
Mai mult, oficialii chinezi s-au intrebat retoric daca aceste acuzatii facute in plina criza financiara sunt oportune, dat fiind faptul ca este necesara o cooperare internationala pentru depasirea acestei crize.
"Nu ne depreciem intentionat moneda pentru a ne sustine exporturile", a declarat ministrul chinez al Comertului.
Expertii in economie tin sa dea dreptate chinezilor, aratand ca o depreciere intetnionata a yuan-ului ar fi putut avea un efect de bumerang asupra economiei chineze, intrucat acest lucru ar fi putut atrage capitaluri speculative in tara si ar fi nascut tensiuni cu principalii parteneri comerciali.

Aceste acuzatii arata ca idei precum cooperare internationala si sustinere reciproca in fata crizei raman simple vorbe spuse in cadrul reuniunilor la nivel inalt si care, dupa cum arata realitatea, nu se regasesc deloc in relatiile concrete dintre state, apreciaza expertii in relatii internationale.
